I'm very sorry the clinic couldn't get a protective order. "Look we can get at your spouse and your children; we can turn your neighbors and "friends" against you--any loony with a gun will know exactly where to find you or your children or your pets" does not strike me as protected speech.

As for the harasser being dead, well, everybody makes the world a better place. Some by living, some by dying.
