Returned from European Tour, well, okay, Ireland trip.
We came home a few days ago, and have been struggling to get back on Tennessee time and such. I have Many Ireland Photos, which I will have to figure out how to upload for the delectation of my friendslist (don't worry, I'll cut tag them). There are 600 or so of them; I may have to get a flickr pro account in order to upload even the best of the best.
We had beautiful weather for the Ring of Kerry (a famous sightseeing road around a peninsula in southern Ireland, with glorious views of the sea and easy access to ruined castles, ring forts, and an ogham stone).
A bat flew around me in Newgrange. Did you know Newgrange predates the pyramids?
The mimmoth went to reclaim his ancestral mimmoth homeland and returned High King of All The Mimmoths of Ireland.
Oscar Wilde's memorial really does use different colors of marble to make his clothes. And disreptuable as he may have been, Oscar draws the line at associating with mimmoths.
My performance in Dublin was lightly attended, but the audience was polite and friendly.
The weather in Ireland is much like the weather in western Oregon, and the "Cotton Proof" I used on my new jacket worked marvelously.
The best Irish candy bars are the Crunchie, the Toffee Crisp, and the Drifter, though the Double Decker isn't bad.
