Yesterday I went to a training session for membership recruitment for the League of Women Voters. It was interesting and there were some really good parts but it was also a long, tiring day.
Today I lazed around until nearly 10:00 am, then started working on the canoe. I fitted both inwales, a fairly complicated process that ended up taking basically all day. I managed to do a lot of it with the douzouki saw but it always seemed to come down to chisel and sandpaper work for the ends, and planing for the last couple of spacers before the ends.

Hopefully I will get through all the sanding and stuff to glue one inwale in tomorrow, but we'll see.
