catsittingstillAudacity 1.3.x works. It even *comes* with GVerb. Plus a whole bunch of things labeled "Apple" this and that, one of which calls itself "Matrix Reverb" whatever that means.
But what it does mean is that I have a version of Audacity that actually works, meaning it actually has that just about first and most important effect: reverb.
So this is me dancing and punching the air above me and saying "Ha! Yes!"
