Yeah, usually it requires a decent amount of morphine for that effect to kick in, so you taking a quarter dose ought to be safe. But who knows with Covid?

(It's one of those things I learned as a medic in the army. People with chest wounds should not be given morphine but pethidine. But apparently not all opiates have that effect.)
