So there's this theory I can put pictures up. I'm gonna try. People have been asking for pictures of Patience; this is the best one I have so far, taken yesterday.

Use the "static.flickr.com" URL to get direct displays, e.g., <img src="http://static.flickr.com/57/186012618_3d99e09ddc.jpg">. This is what ohiblather uses on the flickr pictures she displays directly on lj. You can pick up the URL (using Internet Exploder, anyway) by right-clicking on the picture in the flickr album, and then selecting the properties item from the pop-up menu.

In firefox, you right-click the image on the flikr page and select "copy image location".

Looks like the <img ...> tag is working fine for you now — at least with my browser.
