I'm sick. I know I promised to mail CDs this week (or I meant to promise, anyway) but the little bit of a cold I had Tuesday night is now a great big hairy COLD with its teeth fastened in my throat.

I have accomplished almost nothing useful, except for some laundry and dishes, while in the throes of this struggle. When I have conquered the beast I will get back to my regularly scheduled life. In the meantime I am surfing the internet in a desultory low-attention-span kind of way, alternating with reading and napping.

Laundry and dishes sounds like a success to me, in the context of a nasty COLD...Get better first is where I'd say your priorities should lie.
