It's a big man who can say when his opponent is right.
Obama said it several times. When he thought McCain was wrong, he said so, but when McCain was right, he said that too.
McCain never did. He could only attack Obama.
Sad, really.

Specifically, the pundits are saying McCain's demeanor was "old and grumpy".
I do think "appearance counts" for the general audience, so McCain's demeanor may hurt him.
...Keith Olbermann is citing a "snap poll" from CBS of uncommitted voters: 40% say Obama won, 38% say it was a draw, 22% say McCain won.
The CW is if it's a draw, McCain lost, because he was expected to dominate in foreign policy.
