Mostly, when I manage 5 veggies in a day I do it by snacking on veggies (usually raw) at random times during the day, when I feel the urge to snack on anything. This means I can have a veggie at lunch, a double portion of veggies at dinner, and two rounds of carrot-stick snacks or somesuch.
