In other news, Gannet's journal pointed me at this appalling article http://www.nytimes.com/2003/12/21/national/21OSHA.html. If you don't want to create your own login, mediajunkie/mediajunkie will get you in.
I'm wondering how to go about doing something about this. OSHA was meant to prevent things like this, and apparently it needs some nudging now, but I'm not sure how to apply the pressure. Write my Senator? Write the senator for the appropriate state? Hmm.
