Experimenting with putting up MP3s
Jan. 12th, 2007 12:54 pmI think I've got my recordings of Dave Alway up at the Hwaet.org site.
I think this needs to be tested in three steps. The first step is for me to put this post up and verify that the link works.

Okay, that's done. What comes up is one of those directory lists you get when you don't link a specific file in the directory. I recommend right-clicking the mp3 names and picking "download to disk" because I don't know if streaming will work, and I suspect my host might not be happy about a lot of people doing it that way anyway.
Now I need some brave soul (preferably with a broadband connection) to verify for me that they can be downloaded.
There are three files (I found an old one from GaFilk 2004), one of about 650 KB and 2 of 4-point-some MB.
They are of "A Subtle Kind of Greatness," "The Locktender's Lament" and "In Sherwood."
