Fisking. Because I just can't help it.

For background let me point out that the Bush administration has proposed --like seriously we-are-going-to-make-this-law-in-30-days proposed, to allow "freedom of conscience" for health care providers not to provide abortions  (and they have cleverly redefined about half of contraception to be "abortion" also).  Vixy has a good post on it.

One of the people on my friends list thinks we shouldn't have a problem with this.  I emphatically disagree.
