(no subject)

We have finally done the last of the moving-out work except for getting the canoe lifter out of Bill's barn.  I will have to decide whether to keep the canoe lifter, and if so, where, or whether to take it apart.  But at any rate, I can't leave it cluttering Bill's barn.

The carpet shampooing machine is in the back of my car.  I hope it doesn't freeze too cold tonight because there's still water in it; I can't find any way to pour the water out.  I can't return it to the rental place until Monday.

I just got the latest Sharing Knife book.  :-) Chortle.  I waffled over getting a paper copy vs going Kindle and decided to go Kindle, because I wanted it right away.  I figured Bujold's books will be in print for a long time; if the Kindle goes bellyup I'll be able to get a paper copy if necessary.   I ended up staying up till 2:30am and then getting up at 8:00am and going right back to reading; finishing it just before I had to jump in the shower before heading out to meet a friend for lunch.  I like all the Sharing Knife books but I think the last 2 are even better than the first 2.

I built 2 more lasagna (layered compost) beds a couple of days ago.  This time I watered every layer.  I'm still not sure I watered enough.
