Some Progress
Aug. 11th, 2011 11:40 pmToday I got about 40% of the sides of the instrument case glued up. I feel pretty good about this because I also had to cut all the planks for the sides and adjust the jig because I hadn't put it together quite properly aligned yesterday.
Tomorrow when the light is good I will try to take some pictures.
Also I mostly wrote one song (which I feel like I have to get permission before posting here) and wrote a last verse (I think) for another that had been languishing unattended on my hard drive for a while.
I have been slow about getting back into practicing but I think I did about 20 minutes this evening--maybe half an hour when I figure in the new songs (heck, maybe longer than that--I kind of lose track of time with a new song) and my fingers are feeling it a little.
On the other hand I missed a meeting I was supposed to attend--hopefully nobody will think that was a big deal but, oops. I laid down for a minute after dinner and fell asleep.
