Hygrometers arrived today
Jan. 9th, 2014 11:55 pm The hygrometers arrived today. The relative humidity in the house is 20%. The humidifiers for the case(s) came too, so I filled them up. I put one in with Lark and the other in a case with my bodhran since Pearl's case is protecting Pearl in the instrument hospital. Also I have the humidifier running full blast in the bedroom but the humidity in there is still only 20% I would like to humidify myself a little.
I have friends over for their own sake, but there is no denying that if I didn't have friends over I would never clean and I would have to burn the house down and start over every five years or so. I did a lot of cleaning and putting things away yesterday and today, and I'm tired and sore. And grumpy because I can't find my Cranford mitts and they would be perfect for the upcoming con.
Dr. Faber's Medicine Show went live on Bandcamp tonight, which may have been a mistake on my part but I wanted to make sure it was available tomorrow. I promptly got 3 CD orders, one of which I know I can hand over tomorrow at the con. I suspect Bandcamp squealed to everyone who'd bought The King's Lute that I had another CD out. Ordinarily this would be a fine thing but I'm a little concerned about stealing my GaFilk CD release concert thunder from myself. An order is an order, of course, but it's very satifying to see people's faces as I hand them over and hold the money in my hot little hand.
I changed my strings to save myself some time tomorrow morning but now I am squandering the saved time by staying up late tonight so I guess I better go to bed.
