I put up a FAWM song yesterday called James Madison, about the president by that name (mostly just quotes of things he said, liberally adjusted to rhyme and scan). It got no comments over at FAWM, perhaps because I never mentioned it here. So now I have.

And I also put up a FAWM song today called Honey And Sugar And Cream And Salt about something that Judi Filksign said once.

Both are available from my hwaet.org songbook page if you would rather check them out there; the mp3s are, as usual, linked at the top of their respective lyric pages.

So, one more song to go.

Okay so I finished Downton Abbey (until the fifth season starts up, anyway.) Can I just say that Brendan Coyle (Mr Bates) has a way of smiling at people that just makes me want to follow him around hoping he'll do it again?
Amazon had the first three seasons "for free" since I've got Prime right now. Turned out I could watch the fourth season on the PBS website (if you want to do that, hurry--they disappear March 6th.) Now I'm really truly out of Downton Abbey and I'm trying out "Lark Rise To Candleford" to see if that will get me through the empty evenings... oh, and here's Brendan Coyle again. So far he hasn't had many opportunities to do that fresh-bread-out-of-the-oven smiling thing, but I've only seen the first episode.
I do plan to watch Sherlock but I'm holding off because I think Kip wants to watch it with me but midterms are eating his week. Does anyone know if "Grimm" is any good?
