Jan. 17th, 2004 10:30 amEeep. No time this morning either. Yesterday at about noon the boss said that since I couldn't work on the diffractometer that day (filament's busted) I should do a different experiment, one that involves taking samples at given times out to 24 hours to monitor the progress of a chemical reaction.
The problem is 24 hours means I have to go in to work today. But I have a mandolin lesson scheduled for today and I missed the last two lessons because I was out of town. Dammit. Though I've been working pretty hard since I missed a couple of days due to GaFilk and a doctor's appointment, and by the time I get home I pretty much go straight to bed, so I think I haven't done any significant practice in the last ten days or so anyway.
Not only that but I promised to help Tomoaki do crystallization setups next Saturday too. What was I thinking?
So add to my list of things to do--call my mando teacher and reschedule. Again. Grump.
