I must be getting something done

catsittingstill I keep being busy every day. And I wrote, in the last week, pretty nice mandolin harmonies for "Come Flying With Me" and "Today Is The Day" and a pretty good octave mandolin harmony for "Ludington's Ride." And I moved music for pretty much all my new songs into ForScore on the iPad. And I think I sent out all the Holiday Cards I meant to.
But I'm not getting done what I *meant* to get done.
And I'm going to visit the in-laws and I'm probably not taking the mandolin, since I have to fly, and I'm feeling really weirded out by the prospect of not practicing or working on arrangements or anything for a WHOLE WEEK I hope they appreciate what I give up to visit them.
I guess I could take the metronome; it's tiny--and I could practice singing to it, which I'm not very good at and almost never practice. And I won't be quite instrument--less; I'll have SimpleMusic on the iPad and Ocarina on the iPod. But it's just not the same.
