So I went canoeing on Cherokee lake. I took the camera. The pictures are up on my Flickr account if people are interested.

There doesn't seem to be an easy way to separate out batches of photos; this latest trip runs from Invisible Heron to Ghostly Trails of Canoes Past. The Roanoke picture is from a previous batch.

Plus the pictures I loaded in first show up in the main page last, so if you want the pictures more or less in order, you need to start with Ghostly Trails of Canoes Past and work your way backwards to the Invisible Heron (which I swear was perfectly visible before I put the camera up to my eye).

I was so pleased with the self-portrait I took out there, I turned it into my first userpic. By injudicious saving I destroyed the original photo only to realize that it's okay--I have a copy on Flickr!

When you are logged in on the Flickr website, you should see a set of drop-down lists across the top of your page. Select "Organize" and in that list "your sets". This takes you to a page where you can see any sets you have made, and you can edit which pictures from all you have uploaded go in any given set, and each set can be reordered (I usually organize my sets by the order in which the pictures were taken, most recent pictures last in any given group).

Good luck! :-)

Lovely photos, and it looks like you had a great outing on the lake! It's been rainy rainy rainy here, wish *I* were out there, enjoying the sunshine and fall colors, as you're doing. *wistful sigh*

Thanks for the advice. I did manage to arrange a couple of batches, following your suggestions. I also did a search for "canoe" and some people have some *wonderful* shots up there.

Well, it was wonderful weather Friday, rained over the whole weekend, and hasn't been above 60 degrees since. The sun did come out this afternoon, though.

Very cool. Patience looks beautiful.

Hunting alligators? Crikey!

Well, "hunting" in the sense of "looking for" not in the sense of "planning to kill." We never saw any, though. Probably it was too hot.
