Hah!  Carson Newman has a lovely drafting table in the art building.  Now I just need to get permission to use it for a day or two, and find some big paper.

And I can cross "exercise" off my list.

Commercial boat-builders use modeling software like Rhino, these days. The Mac alpha of Rhino is available, free, at http://community.irhino3d.com/ . It may be overkill for your job, though, and of course you'd need to find some place with a plotter.

Easier to find a drafting table, I think. Especially given that I have done that already.

Thanks for the link to the modeling software, though. There are times I have wished I had something like that rather than just drawing on paper.
