Okay. Big sigh of relief. Health Insurance Reform has passed the House. We're not keeping people from dying in the street for lack of insulin, but at least we're making a start.
I know some of the people reading this are not pleased about this development. I know you won't believe it for a while, but it will be okay.

Date: 2010-03-22 05:15 pm (UTC)I don't think so, actually. Those arguments are likely to be most effective in states that are already solidly Republican. The real screams are going to come in 2014, when the mandate kicks in, and people discover that the cost controls of the bill are weak.
Now, jobs and the economy, those the Dems have to worry about this year.
