I did the sanding and epoxied in the port inwale today.

I also invited three people to the League of Women Voters Candidates' Forum.  And ordered our League buttons, and priced a whiteboard and an easel I hope to persuade the League to buy (to use for publicizing our November meeting at our October meeting and so forth.)

Progress is a lot of baby steps.

Glad to see that you are active in LWV; it's a great group. My wife has been a member for thirty or so years, and has served as president of the local chapter. She hopes to do so again after she retires from teaching in a couple of years. LWV is an important provider of information for those who aren't completely apathetic about local politics and issues.

:-) I absolutely agree. I am trying to find more like-minded people for our local league, as we have been shrinking for a while.

And my congratulations to your wife on her long and productive membership! I myself have only been a member for five years or so.
