I asked Kip if he would love me if I were a mermaid.

He said absently "Yes.  We'd have to live near the coast.  You could be a lifeguard"

And I said "I would love you too, with my cold fishy heart.  And yes, I would be an excellent lifeguard."

So that's settled.

Lots of birds build nests on the water or at the water's edge.

Fortunately Kip is not a bird, so we wouldn't have to worry about it.
