May. 2nd, 2011 06:21 pmSo....
Canoe progresses. No, that shouldn't be in the passive. Despite the irritating screech of scraper on white pine (it sounds nicer on the cedar somehow, but the cedar is only two thin strips and I don't want to scrape them out) and stiff back and unhappy wrists that mean taking lots of breaks, and despite having committed the morning to the Rural Clinic, I am shoving the canoe along.
To vary things a bit I have scraped out one half and am alternating scraping the other half with sanding the first half. I don't want to make my back so unhappy I have to take time off. I have allowed two weeks for the process of smoothing the inside but it would make me very happy to finish in one.
Also, a happy tidbit--I have been enjoying Flight of the Godkin Griffin by haikujaguar and I thought you might too.
