The Good:
We did most of the publicity stuff we'd intended. I included a pitch for joining the League at the end of the forum. Four of the people I invited actually came. The Forum itself came off reasonably smoothly.
And it's over.
The Not-So-Good.
Put together the volunteers and the candidates probably outnumbered the audience. All that work for 20-30 people. About six of the candidates who had said they were going to come didn't show up and didn't send any word about why. Two more had medical emergencies in the family and canceled at the last minute but at least had the courtesy to let us know.
I am worried that candidates will quit coming because the size of the audience is not worth their time.
And I forgot to give Heidi my receipts for buying the whiteboard and easels. I guess there's no particular rush, but darn it.
But hey, it's over.
