Just for grins

catsittingstillI did some recording and mixing today. My bandcamp page has a new version of Common Ground with better takes--and made with the new mic! Plus, just for grins, I did a mix where I lowered my voice on the three-beat part (which is from the point of view of the male main character in the _Sharing Knife_ books) an octave. It comes out like The Deep One sings love duets, but I thought it might amuse people. I'm putting that mp3 here.
It's quite possible that neither of these is the final iteration of this piece; I am still trying to figure out how to make both parts intelligible, or even whether that's possible. One alternative would be to find a real tenor/baritone to sing the three-beat part. Another might be to truncate the first lines of the two beat part so the three beat part sings in the clear a few times. Still thinking about this.
