catsittingstillAt this point I'm trying to get good enough to play the mandolin part for A Matter Of The Heart (it's not that hard, it's just that it's only slightly over a day old at this point) and decide what I want to do with the computer generated lines. I will probably use them but I'm probably going to want to cut them in and out.
I also laid down a scratch track for True To A Sixteenth and practiced recording to that and to my scratch track for One Salt Sea, hoping to be ready to record on Friday, because I might not have too many more Fridays when I have access to the padded room.
I have half a new song that came on this evening but I'm not sure where I'm going to take it.
I am feeling like if I ignore these song bits, the Muse will stalk off in a huff, and how will I get him to come back? But I'm also feeling like... I have other things--musical things--Muse-related things--that I need to be doing. Like I haven't mixed since Thursday...
