Hi, I'm alive. I'm just really busy right now, because I'm helping the boss write a grant for NIH. On the good side, I'm building up a lot of comp time off :-) And adding lines to the writer part of my science writer resume. On the bad side, I have almost no free time. And after we finish the grant, the boss wants me to help write a paper with him. Again, more lines on the resume, and work that I like, but we're going to have about five weeks to finish it up and turn it in, which I'm guessing means no free time. So if you don't hear from me, you know why.

I'm also doing physical therapy again, which is eating up another slice of my mornings. I'm hopeful that it will help, but for it to help, I have to *do* it. So I'm off.

:-) Well, thanks. I don't think it's necessary to be busy to be valuable, but it is nice to feel like I'm making a difference. And it's kind of a comfort when I'm watching the house gradually build up this shell of crud...
