Pocketnaomi needs help
Jun. 18th, 2012 07:26 amPocketnaomi just got a letter from her "health insurance" company, which, by the way, is GroupHealth, if you want to know which company to avoid when sign-up time comes around again, saying that the only maintenance medication for her fibromyalgia has just been taken off their list of "formulary" medications, which means they're going to stop paying their part of the prescription costs in TWO WEEKS.
Which means she'll have to come up with 600$ a month for it, instead of the 250$ a month she is currently scraping together. She doesn't have that kind of extra money.
She needs help.
She has a call in to her doctor but is not sure he will get back to her in the time limit, much less file an appeal with GroupHealth. She would like more ideas about what to do, and help boosting the signal on her plight until it gets to the attention of someone who might be able to help.
Please join me in boosting the signal.
