Feeling Better

catsittingstillI'm feeling better today. Still a little sniffly, and coughing now and then, but generally much better. I had the day off anyway, as there wasn't much work for me to do at the lab.
I spent most of the day downloading files off my mp3 recorder from the last two cons (GaFIlk and Galacticon) and burning an mp3 CD I'd promised a friend. In the process I found a whole stack of CDs I'd been meaning to rip and put on my player, so I did those too. By the time I looked up it was 5pm and Kip was home.
I also went rooting in the loft and found my old SCA/con costumes which had gone missing since the move. A mouse had deposited a little calling card on one item, so to be safe I washed everything. It looked very bright and cheerful hung out on the line in the spring sunlight. Kip and I are talking about planting some flowers tomorrow.
