No mixing today.

In the morning I had a volunteer stint at the clinic, and in the afternoon I came home and realized I had nothing left to mix except some drum tracks that might or might not be worthwhile, and I really needed to get busy with recording my desired vocal harmonies and octave mando bass lines, which are much more important to me than the drum tracks, if I have to choose.
So I spent the day tweaking and practicing vocal harmonies and octave mando bass lines. My fingers are actually sore--partly from the vocal practice--since the easiest way to find and hold my pitch against the vocal line I know much better is to play along with myself on the mandolin. I have some pretty nice harmonies if I do say so. I think I am looking at three more recording sessions, and probably I'll be ready for the first one the morning after tomorrow.
I *think* I can fit it all in. I might even be able to mix Yellow Truck Song and Normal. We'll see.
