Rideshare to FKO?

catsittingstillSo here's the deal. I'm planning to go to FilkOntario. Finances being what they are, I'm planning to drive. I'll be coming up I-75 from Knoxville to Detroit, then turning right and heading for Toronto on (I think) 410. If I don't have a new job that crimps my time, I'll probably start Thursday and overnight in/near Columbus (where I have a kind offer of crash space--you know who you are, and thank you!--). I'll probably start back Sunday afternoon, and overnight in the same place.
Anybody interested in sharing a ride to FKO? I'm willing to go, say, 60 miles off-route to pick people up, and I would expect to share gas costs and possibly driving. I would have room for one more person and gear with no trouble, and I think I could take two people and gear with moderately careful packing.
I'm also willing to park my car at someone's place and ride up with them.

Date: 2006-03-19 06:18 pm (UTC)Daniel is flying into Columbus Wednesday, and our current plan is to head out once I get out of the office on Thursday, and drive at least part way up. David will be with us, so we will, off necessity, be making at least brief stops every couple of hours :-); We figure to start back sometime on Sunday. For some reason, the 5 month old doesn't appreciate spending 8 to 10 hours in the car ;-)
