I am home. I am tired, I have caught a cold, my pants are probably bankrupt and I have beggared myself.

But boy howdy, I had a wonderful time at FilkOntario!

More later.

Except this--if you wanted a CD and didn't get one, I'm very sorry. It's not because I don't like you; it's because I have a mind like a steel sieve and (particularly at cons) the attention span of a cat on catnip. Send me an e-mail and I'll mail you one.

Or alternatively, it's because you have friends who have the brains **of** a catnip toy and spaced on even remembering to ask for one. Guess I have an e-mail to send...(*grin*).

:-) No problem. As you can see, I can't point fingers.

Thank you so much for our copy - I immediately burned it into the memory of my IPOD so I can hum while I turn our house upside down once more :)

I'm really looking forward to getting ours finished so we can share with you.

I also really enjoyed your performance of the song tribute to Judi. You are also wonderful to watch. Signing with the entire body really conveys the joy of the music!

oh, and... that octave mandolin is beautiful and well worth the pants bankrupted!

It is indeed beautiful. The octave mandolin is responsible for me beggaring myself. The pants being bankrupted is, however, a reference to having been away from LJ a long time and missed a lot of posts and not expecting to go back and catch up, so if the reader posted something the writer should know about, please e-mail the writer. Someone in the friendslist of my friendslist posted some version of that announcement that, when condensed down to first letters (like OMG or RSN) worked out to something that looked a bit like "bankrupt my pants." It became a common expression on my friendslist.

You are welcome, and I hope you will enjoy it. I look forward to a chance to hear the finished version of your CD too.

I'm glad you like the song about Judi. I'm hoping people will pick it up and learn it--she's a great performer.

Do you want words and sheet music to an old song of mine? Or a new one? The Echo's Children site only has words and music up to when I moved to Tennessee. I'm planning to put up words and music to the new CD, but haven't actually done anything about it yet, but if you want it for a particular piece, I can e-mail you something.

I am patient :) I can wait.

I'm looking forward to learning Judi's song amongst others.

I figured out who you were about halfway through the con, but never managed to get you, a CD, and the memory that I was supposed to give you a CD all in the same room together.

I did give one to Keris, though, and told him I'd promised someone in the n'Early Music Consort one (having temporarily misplaced your name.) If it's inconvenient to get it from him, I can mail you another. I have to send one to Holland anyway. Let me know.

Getting it from him would be no problem, providing he remembers to bring it to an nMC rehearsal. But he probably has a better CD burner than I do to make copies, and I know he has a printer that can print onto CDs as well! I've emailed you anyway - the more the merrier, we can pass them round the UK filk community for you easily.
